Are the shin guards approved for use?

Yes! Our shin guards are fully compliant with the updated football regulations for the 2024/2025 season. According to the new regulations, it is now the player's own responsibility to ensure that the shin guards provide reasonable protection. This means that the referee cannot decide whether they are big enough - that is up to you!

"Shin pads, which must be made of suitable material and of a suitable size so that they provide reasonable protection. They must be completely covered by the socks. It is the players' own responsibility to ensure that their shin pads are of the correct size and fit. " - Section 4, Football Act 24/25

Do the shin guards provide enough protection?

It is extremely rare that you will experience a direct blow to the shin, and even in this case, the shin guard will usually cover the area adequately.

NOTE: Use of the shin guards is at your own risk.
